I'm not gonna say it looks bad because I'll probably like it anyway, but I wasn't really impressed all that much. :/ I guess I just don't like it when they try to mix the real world into it all.

I watched it again and after the whole ooooh its Thor got over it does little too smashed together... makes me think Iron Man 2 not Iron Man, in a bad way.

I think their pick for Thor was spot on though. That dude fits him just about perfectly. It'll probably lack focus like IM2 or SM3, though. :(

I don't know how much of the comics of Thor you guys have read, but i read through summaries and snippets of them after i saw this (took forever) and the story seems really messed up and unfocused. So it will just fit!

Thor was never a really fleshed out character. Aside from his inclusion into the Avengers, he doesn't have a lot of consistent or coherent backstory.

I didn't read a lot of comics, but Thor seemed more like a weird side-kick than anything.
